About Us
A Story of Love, Legacy, and Flavor
Hello Mẹ is more than a restaurant — it’s a heartfelt tribute to mothers and the comfort found in their cooking. Inspired by family tradition, we serve authentic Vietnamese dishes made with care, bringing warmth, flavor, and connection to every table in Mooresville, NC.
A Tribute to Mothers, A Celebration of Flavor
About Us
In Vietnamese, the word Mẹ means mother. Hello Mẹ began as a heartfelt tribute to a loving mom who left too soon, originally named Phở Mẹ in her honor. Today, our restaurant continues that legacy as a celebration of all mothers and mother figures — whether present with us or remembered in spirit.
At Hello Mẹ, we believe a mother’s cooking is more than food. It is comfort, love, and connection. Every dish we serve — from our slow-simmered phở to our fresh rice paper rolls — is thoughtfully prepared with the same care and intention you’d expect from a family kitchen.
Our promise is simple: great food, better memories, and an authentic Vietnamese dining experience where everyone feels at home.

What Our Customers Say
At Hello Mẹ, we believe the best compliments come from our guests — here’s what our customers have to say about their favorite dishes, experiences, and moments shared with us.
Service is where it's hit-or-miss. We usually order takeout. We learned not to place an order in advance unless it was ASAP because they would make it immediately even though the pickup was for 2 hours later. Last time we came, we dined in. Only two other tables, but our server would disappear for a long time. Had to ask twice for a pho container, but they were quick with bringing dessert and the check!
